On tonight’s game…
We didn’t play very well, and I don’t take anything away from Arkansas… We knew coming in that they have been playing very well and DJ Baxendale gave them a quality start. We had a couple of run scoring opportunities early and he was able to make some pitches and keep us off the board. Michael (Roth) – he battled for us, two earned runs and he gave up a few hits but he tried to keep us in position to come back, but we didn’t play well enough and Arkansas got a bunch of hits too, they were double digits there.
On Arkansas’ batting…
They did a good job of swinging the bat no doubt about it. I’d have to look at the tape to see if he missed some spots. They are a good hitting team, and like I said they have been playing really well and swinging the bat too, I know that he would like to have given up less hits, but he went 5.3 (innings) with only two earned runs, you’ll take that every time.
