Omaha Baseball Village Map in PDF Format

Columbia, S.C. – There will be a team send-off for the South Carolina baseball team on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Carolina Stadium in the team parking lot before the Gamecock squad departs for Omaha, Neb. The VIP lot will be closed to public parking and fans are encouraged to park in Lot 1 located on Williams Street (grass lot by Williams & Blossom street). Head coach Ray Tanner will address the fans before the team’s departure. Cocky will also make an appearance. South Carolina begins play at the 2011 College World Series on Sunday, June 19 vs. Texas A&M with first pitch at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

• The Gamecocks’ team headquarters will be the Omaha Marriott (10220 Regency Circle, Omaha, NE 68114).

• A pregame tent for Gamecock fans will be set up in the Omaha Baseball Village at the Old Mattress Factory Bar & Grill (map listed above) prior to South Carolina’s games on Sunday, June 19 and Tuesday, June 21. The tent will open two (2) hours prior to each game (4 p.m. CT on Sunday). Gamecock hand fans and garnet shakers will be distributed to South Carolina fans while supplies last.
