COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Southeastern Conference today announced its 2012 women’s basketball conference television schedule, which includes eight South Carolina games among the 57-game package that spans four networks. The Gamecocks are slated for a pair of games on the ESPN family of networks, three on FSN, two on the SEC Network (SECN) and one on Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS). South Carolina expects to announce its non-conference television schedule in the coming weeks.

South Carolina kicks off the first of four straight televised games at Vanderbilt on Jan. 22 on ESPNU. Hosting Ole Miss on Jan. 26, the Gamecocks will be on FSN, which includes SportSouth, Fox Sports Southwest and Sun Sports. The Jan. 29 matchup with Mississippi State will air on the SEC Network, and CSS will air South Carolina’s visit to Tennessee on Feb. 2.

Fans can watch the Gamecocks and Florida Gators square off on ESPN2 on Feb. 12 to open another block of televised games. FSN picks up South Carolina’s next two outings – Feb. 16 against Georgia and Feb. 19 at Alabama. SEC Network returns to Columbia for the regular-season finale against Arkansas on Feb. 26.

In addition to the regular-season slate, all SEC Tournament games will air live. Games in the first two rounds will be on FSN, while ESPNU and ESPN2 will broadcast the semifinals and finals, respectively.
