Columbia, S.C. – Seven more South Carolina baseball games will be televised as part of the Southeastern Conference package it was announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon. The Gamecocks currently have 11 games scheduled for television for the 2012 season.
The conference opener at Kentucky on March 16 will be televised on CSS with first pitch set for 7 p.m. In addition to the already announced SEC Game of the Week on Thursday, Mar. 22 on ESPNU, the entire series vs. the Gators will be televised as games two and three will be broadcast on CSS. CSS will also televise game two of the Vanderbilt series on Saturday, Mar. 31 in Nashville with first pitch now slated for 4 p.m.
ESPNU has added game two of the Tennessee series on Sat., April 7 as well as the series opener on Friday, May 4 at Arkansas. Both those games are now scheduled for 8 p.m. Game two in Fayetteville on May 5 will also be televised and that is set for 1 p.m. on ESPN2. SportSouth will televise the April 21 contest at Auburn at 4 p.m.
