COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina will host two spring volleyball events as part of a four-date schedule as a part of the team’s non-competition schedule this spring, head coach Scott Swanson released today.

The team hosts the Gamecock Spring Bash on Sat., March 24 to start the dates, with Wake Forest and Coastal Carolina scheduled to come to town. The next weekend sees the squad head to Winston-Salem, N.C., for the Wake Forest Spring Invitational, where a number of teams from the Carolinas will be.

A final road trip comes on April 7, as the Gamecocks head to the Duke Spring Invitational. Three ACC teams along with UNC Greensboro and UNC Wilmington will join South Carolina in the event. And the schedule concludes on Wed., April 11 with a 6 p.m. scrimmage against Clemson in the Volleyball Competition Facility.

The Gamecocks have 10 players back this spring from the fall roster that doubled the win total from 2010.
