COLUMBIA, S.C. –
Friday’s games in the Gamecock Invitational, hosted by South Carolina softball, have been canceled due to the thunderstorms in the Columbia area.

Saturday’s schedule remains unaffected by the rain, while one game has been shifted to Sunday. South Carolina will start Sunday’s action against George Washington at 10 a.m. as slated, with George Washington taking on Appalachian State in the second game at 12:30 p.m. The final two games previously scheduled for Sunday, pitting Presbyterian against Appalachian State and Elon, will now start at 3 and 5 p.m., respectively.
