COLUMBIA, S.C. — Former South Carolina women’s golfer Amanda Strang fired a final round 69 (-3) to win the Nordea Tour Norrporeten Ladies Open on Sunday at Sundsvalls Golf Club in Kvissleby, Sweden.

Strang carded rounds of 72 and 74 in the first two rounds as her three-round total of 215 (-1) gave her a two-shot victory. Strang, who missed the cut in her first two events, claimed her first professional win after making seven birdies in the final round.

The victory secures Strang’s playing rights on the Swedish Tour for the next three years.
