With the 2012 SEC Championship being held on Friday, South Carolina cross country coach Stan Rosenthal, head track & field coach Curtis Frye and the track & field coaching staff held a sendoff on Tuesday night in the Rice Athletic Center for the Gamecock runners heading to Nashville, Tenn.
The Gamecocks will get on the road on Wednesday for their trip to the meet, which will begin on Friday at 10 a.m. CT at Percy Warner Park.
South Carolina will be looking to carry momentum into the meet after wrapping up the regular season with a third-place showing at the NCAA Preview meet in Louisville, Ky.
