Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina women’s basketball began official practice for the 2013-14 season this afternoon at the Basketball Practice Facility. Led by sixth-year head coach Dawn Staley, the Gamecocks return six letterwinners, including three of their top five scorers, and welcome four newcomers to the mix.
South Carolina will host an exhibition on Fri., Nov. 1, against North Greenville with the regular-season opener coming a week later on Fri., Nov. 8, against Charleston Southern. Season tickets are on sale now for $50 for a reserved seat or a Family Four-Pack of four general admission tickets for $100.
