COLUMBIA, S.C. – The University of South Carolina men’s basketball team participated in pre-game festivities at Gamecock Village and second-year head coach Frank Martin served as the honorary captain at the football contest versus Kentucky on Oct. 5, 2013.

Team members, along with Coach Martin, signed autographs and shot baskets with fans at Gamecock Village, prior to greeting fans at the gates and being featured on the field in between the first and second quarter of the game. Coach Martin served as the honorary captain, joining team captains from both squads and the officials at the 50-yard line for the coin toss prior to kick off.

South Carolina is currently in its second week of preseason practice prior to a Nov. 3 exhibition contest vs. USC Aiken at 2 p.m. ET.
