COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina’s series opener against Ole Miss has been postponed. Saturday’s game is set for 7 p.m. EDT, while Sunday will now be a doubleheader beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Carolina Softball Stadium at Beckham Field.

Rain in the Columbia area forced the postponements, with forecasts calling for thunderstorms through the afternoon on Saturday.

Fans with tickets for Saturday’s game can still use those tickets for the 7 p.m. game. Friday night’s tickets will get fans into Sunday’s 10:30 a.m. game, while Sunday’s tickets will be good for the second game of Sunday’s doubleheader. The stands will be cleared between games on Sunday.
