Logan Koch To Play In NECBL All-Star Game

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina catcher Logan Koch will play in the 2014 New England League (NECBL) All-Star game as announced by the league on Sunday. Koch, a member of the Plymouth Pilgrims, will be a starter for the South Division. The game will be held Sunday, July 20 at MacKenzie Stadium, home of the Valley Blue Sox in Holyoke Massachusetts.

Koch is hitting .286 (16-for-56) for the Pilgrims with five RBI and three runs scored. He owns a .467 on-base percentage and has walked 18 times on the year.

Koch played in 20 games last year with six starts in his first season with the Gamecock program. Ironically, he also hit .286 in his first season with the Gamecocks (8-for-28) with a pair of runs scored and a RBI.
