Profile
- Krystle Robinson only went on one college visit: South Carolina.
- She loved everything about campus, including being close to her Valdosta, Ga., home.
- She still considers SC home, loving the “student atmosphere, campus, city and team. Oh, and Grouchos!”
- She remembers fondly the camaraderie of the student body, fellow student-athletes and teammates.
- Robinson says she learned how to work together as a team but also when to take charge.
- Gamecock Softball prepared her for the real world, always striving for excellence and being ready to pitch in when someone needs help.
- She also learned discipline and not to give in when the going gets tough.
- Robinson had Tommy John surgery during her days as a Gamecock, one of three surgeries during her playing days.
Current Life
- Robinson played her senior season at Valdosta State.
- After college, she became a grad assistant at Thomas University before later becoming the JV head coach.
- Now Krystle Farlow, she got married in 2012 after meeting her husband in Columbia.
- Farlow now works at Senior Life Insurance doing marketing and recruiting.
- On the side, she does makeup work for weddings and photo shoots as well as selling skincare products and doing pitching lessons.
- The couple had a child, Isla Cait, in 2013.
