COLUMBIA, S.C. — Sophomore Brigit Folland from the 28th-ranked South Carolina women’s tennis team was named to the SEC Women’s Tennis Community Service Team on Tuesday, the league office announced.

The Bristol, United Kingdom, native participated in numerous events during the past year. She was an event volunteer at the Tunnels to Towers 5k as well as the Catawba Trail Elementary School fall festival. She assisted with the Harvest Hope Food Drive and cleaned and organized a Ronald McDonald House for the holidays. Folland also participated in a free tennis clinic given to members of Wildewood Club and was involved in a free tennis clinic hosted by Babcock Foundation.
