Spurs & Feathers: Gamecocks confident heading into SEC Tournament

The South Carolina women’s tennis team is heating up at the right time as they get ready to host the SEC Tournament at the Carolina Tennis Complex starting this week.
After starting conference play 1-3, the Gamecocks (14-9, 6-7 SEC) have rattled off six wins over their last ten matches, including four over ranked opponents.
Now, they turn their attention to playing at home in the SEC Tournament. Every year, a school from the conference is picked to host the annual tournament, with this year being South Carolina’s turn in the rotation.
