Over the past two weeks, it seems as if the South Carolina State House has been painted garnet and black.
After head basketball coach Frank Martin was honored in front of both the House of Representatives and the state Senate last week, it was Dawn Staley and the women’s basketball team’s turn to make their rounds in both bodies.
The team was honored on Wednesday, April 22, for their record-breaking season, where they were given a plaque and they received a standing ovation in both houses for their work this season.
