COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina sophomore catcher Logan Koch has been named to the 2015 SEC Community Service Team for baseball.

Koch has read and interacted with elementary school students at five different schools this past year. He participated in a summer camp for the City of Plymouth Recreation Center in Plymouth, Mass as well as the Boys and Girls Club of Plymouth Baseball Clinic and participated in Fragile Footprints in Cerver, Mass. In addition, Koch walked and raised awareness for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at the Light the Night Walk in Columbia. Last year Koch was a member of the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll in 2014.

The conference names a Community Service Team for each of its 21 league-sponsored sports, looking to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to his community through superior service efforts.
