COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina volleyball team has scheduled its annual Garnet and Black match for Saturday, Aug. 22 at 4:30 p.m. at the Carolina Volleyball Center.
Admission to the match is free, as fans will get their first look at the 2015 squad. A meet and greet with the team will begin after the match, allowing fans to get autographs and pictures.
Season tickets will be available for purchase at the match, and anyone who purchases a season ticket during the match will receive an Under Armour mini-volleyball while supplies last. Season tickets for the Gamecocks’ 16 home dates are $25 for adults and $10 for youth (17 and under). The Gamecocks open their 2015 season at home as they are slated to host the Gamecock Invitational on Aug. 28-29. Carolina will kick off the weekend against Southeastern Louisiana on Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. and will face North Carolina Central (1 p.m.) and North Carolina State (7 p.m.) on Aug. 29.

Cocky’s Spirit Club is a free club organized for boys and girls ages 7-12 who are interested in being a part of the South Carolina Gamecock Volleyball Family!

As a part of Cocky’s Spirit Club, members will…
- Enjoy a preseason pizza party with members of the Gamecock Volleyball Team!
- Be in charge of forming the pre-match spirit tunnel that the Gamecock Volleyball Team will run through during warm-ups of the match!
- Watch the match from reserved rows for members of Cocky’s Spirit Club!
- Be introduced with the team at one match during the season and present the game ball!
