COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina baseball’s recruiting class has been ranked No. 2 in the nation as announced by Collegiate Baseball on Tuesday morning. The class consists of 19 newcomers.

“We are very excited for this year’s recruiting class,” said South Carolina head coach Chad Holbrook. “It is a deep group of newcomers with some of the top prep players in the country as well as a group of standout junior college players. Eight of the 19 newcomers have been selected in the MLB Draft and we had several players turn down six-figure signing bonuses to come to school.”

Kyle Anderson ââ’¬” LHP – Evans, Ga. (Evans HS)
– Rated No. 409 best prospect in the nation by Perfect Game
