Softball Hosts Fall Gamecock Invitational This Weekend

COLUMBIA, S.C. –
South Carolina’s softball team continues its fall campaign at home this weekend, hosting a five-game Fall Gamecock Invitational at Carolina Softball Stadium at Beckham Field.

The Gamecocks bring in in-state foes Presbyterian, Charleston Southern and South Carolina State for the event, facing the Blue Hose and Buccaneers on Saturday and the Bulldogs on Sunday. First pitch on Saturday is set for 11 a.m. between Presbyterian and South Carolina, while the Gamecocks and Buccaneers face off in the game’s third day, tentatively scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday’s battle between SC and SC State is set for 1 p.m.

Admission is free to the entire Fall Gamecock Invitational.

3 p.m. — Charleston Southern vs. South Carolina

2 p.m. — South Carolina State vs. South Carolina
