Friedrich, O'Keefe Continue Play at ITA All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. – Gamecock men’s tennis juniors Gabriel Friedrich and Harrison O’Keefe wrapped up the second day of main draw play at the Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Championships on Friday at the Case Tennis Center. With losses in both mathches on the day, the Gamecocks’ run at the tournament is now over.

In doubles, Friedrich and O’Keefe lost a heartbreaking three-setter to Dominic Bechard and Francois Kellerman 6-7 (5), 6-3, 1-0 (3). Friedrich also competed in a singles consolation quarterfinals match, where California’s Andre Goransson, the No. 17 player in the nation, came out on top in three sets. Friedrich will not have any more singles matches in the tournament.
