EMERSON, GA. – The South Carolina beach volleyball team hits the road this weekend for its first taste of outside competition. The Gamecocks head to Emerson, Ga. for the Collegiate Beach Clash on Nov. 12, which begins at 9 a.m. and runs through 5 p.m.

South Carolina will be one of six total teams scheduled to attend. Joining in this season will be UNC-Wilmington, UAB, LSU and Spring Hill College. The Gamecocks are bringing 10 pairs to the event, and each will have four matchups over the course of the day.
