VIDEO: Gamecock Baseball and Special Olympics

South Carolina baseball welcomed the Special Olympics of South Carolina to Founders Park on Thursday, Nov. 10. The athletes were able to run the bases, take batting practice, play catch and receive a tour of Founders Park. Gamecock senior right-hander Reed Scott helped to coordinate the event as he worked as an intern with the Special Olympics state office this past summer in Irmo and has volunteered with Special Olympics since his freshman year in high school at Blessed Trinity High School in Roswell, Ga.
