Two Transfers Join Gamecocks

COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina men’s soccer announced the addition of two transfers on Thursday in Tucker Monheimer (Louisville, Ky.) and Matt Morgan (Johns Creek, Ga.). Monheimer played a season at Northern Kentucky and Morgan played two seasons at UNC-Wilmington (2015-16).
Tucker Monheimer (Louisville, Ky. / Northern Kentucky)
- Son of Bryan and Mary. Has two sibilings — Riley and Katie.
- Played in 18 games (16 starts) in lone season playing for the Norse.
- Did not record any points but tallied 21 shots and 10 shots on goal.
- Two-time all-state selection at Ballard High School.

Matt Morgan (Johns Creek, Ga. / UNC-Wilmington)
- Started 34 matches in two seasons on the Seahawks’ backline.
- Logged almost 3,000 minutes in two years and was a part of 16 wins.
- Played club for Georgia United Development Academy and was a three-year participant at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center.
