Mayr Named All-Southeast Region

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Sophomore striker Luca Mayr was named to the 2017 United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region Second Team the organization announced. It marks the first career all-region honor for the Steyr, Austria native.
He had a standout second year in Garnet and Black, leading the team in points (18), goals (6) and assists (6) with new single-season career-highs in all three categories. His point total ranked fourth overall in Conference USA and his six assists were tied for third in the league. Mayr was named First Team All-C-USA, his second consecutive all-conference accolade.
