CLEMSON, S.C. — Marcquise Reed poured in a career-high 25 points, 18 of them coming in the second half, to help lead Clemson (10-1) to a 64-48 victory over in-state rival South Carolina (8-3) Tuesday night at Littlejohn Coliseum.

The game was back-and-forth for much of the first half, but the Tigers pushed in front thanks to four Reed 3s midway in the second half. The Gamecocks were unable to find their rhythm offensively, shooting just 35 percent (19-of-54) from the field.

Chris Silva led Carolina with 12 points and nine rebounds. Wesley Myers, who played a season-high 31 minutes, scored 10 points off the bench.

Gabe DeVoe (12) and Shelton Mitchell (10) each scored in double figures off the bench for Clemson, who never trailed in the contest.
