COLUMBIA, S.C. — The University of South Carolina baseball team continues its 10-game homestand with a midweek visit from Furman. Game time is at 4 p.m. at Founders Park, the final midweek 4 p.m. home game of the season. The Furman will be streamed on SEC Network Plus with Burch Antley and Kip Bouknight on the call. Also, all games will be broadcast on IMG Gamecock Sports Network with Derek Scott and Tommy Moody on the call. The Gamecocks went 2-1 against Charleston Southern this past weekend, which included a brilliant 14-strikeout, no-hit performance in seven innings from Adam Hill on Friday.
PARKING INFORMATION
> For the second straight season, shuttle parking for the University of South Carolina baseball season will be operational at the Key Road Gravel Lot (1105 Key Road) and in Lot B of the Colonial Life Arena parking lot. Shuttles will begin running two hours prior to game time.
We strongly recommend that fans use the baseball shuttle from Key Road to Founders Park over the CLA shuttle for the convenience, spacious parking (650 spaces) and less congestion than at the arena. Please remember that at the arena, shuttle parking will be limited to 50 spaces because of the student demand for parking in this area. There is a high student demand Monday through Thursday that lasts until 7 p.m. because of classes. Lots A and B are also reserved for men’s and women’s basketball parking on Feb. 17, 18 and 21.
For GPS purposes, the address for the Key Road Gravel Lot is 1105 Key Road, Columbia, SC 29201.
BUSINESS LOTS DURING AFTERNOON GAMES Business lot parking passes will be honored in Lot 1 ONLY for the Feb. 16, 20, 21, 23 and 27 afternoon baseball games based on availability. The businesses at 405 (Lot 9) and 401 (Lot 10) Huger Street request that you begin parking at 5:30 p.m. on weekdays. Other business lots open at 5 p.m. on weekdays. Parking is allowed in Lot 8 (the Cregger lot) on the Williams St. side for the afternoon early games.

HILL NAMED SEC PITCHER OF THE WEEK
> South Carolina junior pitcher Adam Hill has been named the Southeastern Conference Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced Feb. 26. Hill was downright dominant in a 7-0 win over Charleston Southern on Friday night. The junior righty set a Founders Park record with 14 strikeouts while not allowing a hit, walk or run to pick up his 11th career win as a Gamecock. He broke the old Founders Park record of 13 punchouts, set by Sam Dyson in 2009. The only base runner to reach off Hill was via a fielding error in the sixth inning. Hill had 100 pitches on the night and had two or more strikeouts in six of the seven frames. This is Hill’s second career honor from the SEC. He was named SEC Freshman of the Week on March 14, 2016, after wins over Wofford and Charleston Southern.
TOLBERT STREAKING AT START OF 2018
> Junior LT Tolbert has been the hottest hitter for the Gamecocks this season as the Piedmont, S.C., native is hitting .500 (14-for-28) with a triple, two home runs and eight RBI and has hits in all eight games this season. Tolbert was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a solo home run in the 7-0 win over Charleston Southern on Feb. 23. Tolbert also tripled and drove in a pair in the series finale with the Bucs. Tolbert has a .786 slugging percentage and a .622 on-base percentage this year.
BULLPEN SHINES IN FIRST EIGHT GAMES
> The South Carolina bullpen has a miniscule 0.28 ERA and has allowed just 22 hits and nine walks in 32.2 innings pitched, helping the Gamecocks to an early 6-2 mark. Gage Hinson has pitched five innings of relief, allowing just one hit and a .067 opponent’s batting average. TJ Shook has made three appearances with two strikeouts in four innings while John Gilreath struck out four in four innings of relief in the season opener vs. VMI on Feb. 16, then had 3.1 innings of one-hit relief against Charleston Southern (Feb. 25).
