Jake Ivory

Position: Academic Advisor

Jake Ivory joined the University of South Carolina as an academic advisor for football and men’s golf in July 2017.

Ivory, a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics, came to South Carolina after beginning his career as a social worker and spending two years as an assistant academic coordinator for men’s basketball and softball at the University of Missouri.

A native of St. Charles, Mo., Ivory earned his bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Missouri where he also obtained a master’s in education. During his time as a Tiger, Ivory also competed as a member of the baseball team, roaming the outfield and serving as a team captain.
