Baseball's Recruiting Class Ranked No. 12 by Collegiate Baseball

The Gamecocks are one of 11 schools in the SEC ranked in the top-25.

TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of South Carolina baseball team’s recruiting class has been ranked No. 12 in the country by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, the publication announced this morning (Monday, Sept. 24). The Gamecocks’ class is now nationally ranked by two publications after Baseball America has Carolina at No. 21.
 
South Carolina is one of 11 schools from the Southeastern Conference in CB’s top-25 list. The recruiting class features four players (Josiah SightlerAndrew EysterBrady Allen and Wes Clarke) that were selected in the 2018 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
 
The Gamecocks will continue to scrimmage this week and will host North Carolina State this Saturday (Sept. 29) at Founders Park. First pitch for that contest is scheduled for 2 p.m.
