COLUMBIA, S.C. – University of South Carolina head track & field coach Curtis Frye and members of Carolina’s NCAA Championship-winning 4x400m relay team will be available to speak to the media on Monday, March 11, at 1 p.m. inside of the Carolina Indoor Track & Field Facility. Media are invited to speak with Coach Frye and the student-athletes in a gaggle format as they discuss the team’s NCAA Championship.
Stephanie Davis, Aliyah Abrams, Tatyana Mills and Wadeline Jonathas ran 3:30.76 for Carolina’s first NCAA title in the women’s 4x400m relay since 2007 and the program’s first individual national championship in any event since 2015. The Carolina women’s team finished seventh overall at the meet, their best result since 2007, while the Gamecock men placed 20th, their best finish since 2010.
Those who plan on attending Monday’s media opportunity can park in the Heyward Street Garage, located at 1318 Heyward Street, or at any of the available surface-level spaces on Whaley, Marion or Heyward Streets. Please enter the facility through the main entrance, located on the Whaley Street side of the building.
