FanFood Partners with Gamecocks to Provide Mobile Concessions Ordering Platform
FanFood announced today that they have partnered with the University of South Carolina to provide a concessions mobile ordering platform trial for the remaining baseball games at Founders Park.
COLUMBIA — FanFood, a concession mobile ordering tech startup, announced today (April 15) that they have partnered with the University of South Carolina to provide a concessions mobile ordering platform trial for the remaining baseball games at Founders Park. Fans will be able to take advantage of this new partnership beginning this week when the Gamecocks host Texas A&M.
Fans attending games at Founders Park will now be able to order and pay for concessions on the FanFood app directly from their seats. The concessionaires will receive the orders from the FanFood tablets and fans will be notified when their food is ready. When fans receive the notification that their food is ready, they can grab it at the express pick-up stands located at the first base side concession stand and skip the lines. Fans can receive $3 off their first order with the promo code GOGAMECOCKS.
“We are very excited to partner with FanFood to be able to implement mobile concessions ordering with Aramark, our current concessions provider,” Jeff Crane, Executive Associate AD of UofSC said. “We’re looking forward to continuing to be ahead of the curve in college athletics by utilizing mobile technology to continue to improve our fan experience at Founders Park.”
The FanFood App can be downloaded on iPhones or Android by visiting: http://onelink.to/q9zmky.
Depending on the trials success at baseball, an annual contract will be executed to extend the service for UofSC’s other athletic events.
