NOTES:
Carolina scored 10 runs in the first three innings in a 10-3 win over Charleston Southern on Tuesday night in North Augusta. Noah Campbell had three hits and drove in a pair while Andrew Eyster, Brady Allen and Luke Berryhill had two hits apiece.

Brady Allen had two triples in the Charleston Southern win. It was the first time a Gamecock had two triples in a game since Lonnie Chisenhall did the trick on Feb. 10, 2007 against Western Kentucky. Carolina had three triples on the night as Josiah Sightler also tripled for his first career hit in a Gamecock uniform.

Luke Berryhill extended his on-base streak to 24 games after reaching base in all three games against Missouri. That is a season-high for a Gamecock and the second 20-plus reached base streak by a Carolina player this season. Berryhill leads the team with a .290 batting average to go along with 15 doubles and 10 home runs.

Cam Tringali had another quality start for the Gamecocks on Saturday. He allowed three runs and only five hits while striking out six in 6.1 innings of work. Tringali now has a 3.44 ERA and 52 strikeouts in 52.1 innings pitched this season.

Carolina has the midweek off for final exams before returning to the diamond on Friday night as the Gamecocks start a three-game series with Vanderbilt. Saturday’s game will be televised on ESPNU and Carolina will retire the jersey of Earl Bass before that game.
