Gamecocks Release 2019 Schedule
Carolina will play 11 of its 17 matches at Stone Stadium this fall
COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina men’s soccer announced its 2019 home schedule on Thursday. The Gamecocks will play 17 regular season matches, 11 at home and six away from the friendly confines of Stone Stadium,
Carolina will play three exhibition matches before opening the season at in-state rival Clemson on Friday, Aug. 30, at 7 p.m. ET.
The Gamecocks then return to Columbia for the home opener against Gardner-Webb on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m. ET. Carolina will have four home matches total during the month of September, followed by six in October.
Head coach Mark Berson and his team finish the regular season with a conference match on Friday, Nov. 1, against FIU. It’ll be Senior Night for the Gamecocks with a 7 p.m. ET kickoff.
The Conference USA Tournament begins with quarterfinal action on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the ODU Soccer Complex in Norfolk, Va.

Both the men’s and women’s programs at Carolina have enjoyed great fan support at Stone Stadium over the years. The men finished sixth in the country last season in national attendance average at 2,380 fans per contest. The Gamecocks are the only program in the country to have both its men’s and women’s teams ranked in the top-10 for average attendance the past five seasons (2014-18).
