Parrott Wins Again at Oglethorpe Invitational

SAVANNAH, Ga. — Rising junior Jack Parrott notched another summer victory over the weekend, winning the Oglethorpe Invitational at Landings Club. He eagled the final hole to win by a shot over Zach Sudinsky (McKinney, Texas).
 
The Columbia, S.C., native posted a 54-hole score of 205 (-11) after rounds of 67, 69 and 69. Parrott was 1-over in the third round through 13 holes but righted the ship with birdies at 14 and 16 and a three at the par-5 18^th to get into the clubhouse with a red number.
 
The victory marks the second amateur win for Parrott this summer. The local product from A.C. Flora won the 47^th South Carolina Amateur Match Play Championship on Father’s Day back in June.
