Parrott Wins Again at Oglethorpe Invitational

Second amateur win this summer for the rising junior from Columbia

SAVANNAH, Ga. — Rising junior Jack Parrott notched another summer victory over the weekend, winning the Oglethorpe Invitational at Landings Club. He eagled the final hole to win by a shot over Zach Sudinsky (McKinney, Texas).

The Columbia, S.C., native posted a 54-hole score of 205 (-11) after rounds of 67, 69 and 69. Parrott was 1-over in the third round through 13 holes but righted the ship with birdies at 14 and 16 and a three at the par-5 18th to get into the clubhouse with a red number.

The victory marks the second amateur win for Parrott this summer. The local product from A.C. Flora won the 47th South Carolina Amateur Match Play Championship on Father’s Day back in June.
