Brown and Pelletier Take Doubles Crown
ATLANTA, GA.— South Carolina men’s tennis saw its second doubles pairing take home a title this fall. Junior Thomas Brown and sophomore Beau Pelletier continued their winning ways, defeating Clemson’s Jacob Jahn and Teodor Giusca 6-2 in the doubles White Draw finals at the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational.
The Gamecock duo improved to 4-1 on the year with its three wins in Atlanta, after only playing one match together all of the 2018-19 season.
Redshirt freshman Phillip Jordan was also picked up a win, knocking off Auburn’s Tim Dollman. After dropping the first set 5-7, Jordan was battled back winning swiftly 6-1 and then completed the comeback with a 10-7 victory in the third-set super tiebreak.
