NCAA Tournament Bus Trips Available for Gamecock FAMS

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina Athletics is offering an opportunity for fans to support the women’s basketball team in its possible NCAA Tournament First and Second Round games with a bus trip to Charlotte, if the Gamecocks are selected to host the event. The Gamecocks have requested to host first-round games at Halton Arena on Fri., March 22, with the second round taking place on Sun., March 24.
 
Fans can choose between two bus trip option – 1) Round trip for both rounds for $100 or 2) Round trip for either Friday or Sunday for $65.
 
Each option includes round trip transportation to and from Charlotte on the day of the game, a general admission ticket to the game, a t-shirt and assorted snacks and soft drinks. Official departure time and location will be announced at a later time, and the bus will leave Charlotte for the return trip to Columbia 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game.
 
Reservations can be made online at GamecocksOnline.com, by calling the Gamecock Club at 803-777-4276 or by visiting the Gamecock Club office at the Rice Athletics Center (M-F, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.). Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and payment must be made at the time of the reservation request.
 
If the Gamecocks do not qualify to host NCAA Tournament games in Charlotte, bus trip purchases will be refunded. No other refunds will be issued, regardless of the outcome of the first-round game.
 
The NCAA Tournament Selection Show is set for Mon., March 18, at 7 p.m. and will air on ESPN.
