Baseball Closes Out Fall Practice with Garnet and Black World Series

The seven-game series will start on Tuesday, Oct. 27 and conclude Saturday, Nov. 7.

COLUMBIA – The University of South Carolina baseball team will close out fall practice with a two-week, seven-game Garnet and Black World Series at Founders Park, beginning on Tuesday (Oct. 27).
 
A draft to fill out the two rosters will take place Monday afternoon (Oct. 26). Here is a schedule for the seven games of the series. All games will be 7-inning contests.
 
Game 1 – Tuesday, Oct. 27, 3 p.m.
Game 2 – Thursday, Oct. 29, 3 p.m.
Game 3 – Friday, Oct. 30, 6 p.m.
Game 4 – Monday, Nov. 2, 3 p.m.
Game 5 – Wednesday, Nov. 4, 5 p.m.
Game 6 – Thursday, Nov. 5, 5 p.m. (if necessary)
Game 7 – Saturday, Nov. 7, 1 p.m. (if necessary)
 
All Garnet and Black World Series games will be closed to the public due to COVID-19 regulations, but there will be a number of ways to follow the action over the next two weeks. All games will be streamed live on the Gamecock Baseball Facebook page. There also will be Twitter updates during the games and a recap with stats on GamecocksOnline.com after each contest.
