Gamecocks Wrap Up Florida Relays with Abbreviated Saturday
Due to inclement weather, the South Carolina track and field teams were only able to compete in two events
GAINESVILLE, Fla.—The South Carolina track and field teams wrapped up competition on Saturday at the Florida Relays and saw abbreviated competition due to inclement weather.
Dylan Targgart took third in the men’s discus. He tossed the discus 52.70m/172-10 for a five-centimeter personal best in the event.
In the men’s pole vault, Carson Lenser was the lone Gamecock to clear a bar. He cleared 4.91m/16-1.25 to finish in 11th overall.
The Gamecocks’ next meet is slated for April 16 with the Gamecock Invitational on the Sheila and Morris Cregger Track.
