Baseball Block Party Starts This Saturday vs. Georgia
The Block Party will begin at 1 p.m. at Founders Park
COLUMBIA — Gamecock Athletics is set to host the Gamecock Block Party at Founders Park sponsored by Palmetto Shirt Company this Saturday (April 9) before the Georgia Game.
The block party, located along Williams Street, will open at 1 p.m. and close at the end of the first inning. The Block Party will include Cocky’s Kids Zone, which will feature inflatable games, a photobooth, Sir Big Spur appearance and vintage military trucks in celebration of Military Appreciation Day. Food and drinks, including beer, will be available for purchase and The Coop Food Truck, which will be on site serving signature burgers and sides. No concealable weapons allowed.
Some of our Gamecock Partners will also be on site including Takis, The Graduate and our Gamecock Block Party sponsor, Palmetto Shirt Company. The first 100 fans to stop by the Palmetto Shirt Company tent will receive a free Gamecock Baseball t-shirt.
