Baseball Hosts North Florida Tuesday Night
The Gamecocks and Ospreys will play at 7 p.m. at Founders Park.
COLUMBIA, S.C. — The University of South Carolina baseball team continues its seven-game homestand this Tuesday night (April 12), hosting North Florida at 7 p.m. at Founders Park. The game will be streamed on SEC Network Plus. All games also will be broadcast on the Gamecock Sports Network with Derek Scott and Tommy Moody on the call. The Gamecocks are coming off winning 1-of-3 games against Georgia this past weekend, taking the Saturday game 13-7 behind nine strikeouts from Will Sanders and four RBI from Colin Burgess.
PARKING INFORMATION
Shuttle parking for the University of South Carolina baseball season will be operational at the Key Road Gravel Lot (1105 Key Road). Shuttle begins two (2) hours prior to first pitch and continues until 1 hour after the game.

SCOUTING NORTH FLORIDA
The Ospreys are coming off winning 2-of-3 games against Jacksonville this past weekend. Abraham Sequera had four RBI in the Friday win while Peter Holden struck out nine in the Saturday win.. UNF is led offensively by Cade Westbrook, who is hitting .350 with nine doubles. Brock Edge has a team best 12 doubles and is hitting .333 on the year. Holden has 34 strikeouts in 27 innings pitched.
SERIES VS. NORTH FLORIDA
Carolina has won all three games against North Florida in the series’ history. Last season, the Gamecocks won, 7-6, behind three hits and two RBI from Wes Clarke and four strikeouts in three innings pitched by Daniel Lloyd.

BELK STAYS HOT IN GEORGIA SERIES
Brandt Belk was 6-for-10 with three runs scored, a three-run home run, three walks and five RBI in the Georgia series (April 8-10). Belk now has a 20-game hit and reached base streak and in the last 10 games, is hitting .452 with four doubles, two home runs and 14 RBI.
HALL EARNS CAREER HIGH IN GEORGIA OUTING
Junior Noah Hall struck out a career high 10 batters against Georgia on April 8. He allowed just one run with seven hits and two walks, while his seven innings pitched tied a career high set last week against Missouri. Hall has struck out 14 batters in his last 14 innings pitched.
