Gamecocks, Artsman Offer Women’s Final Four Court Collection

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina Athletics has partnered with Artsman to create collections of distinctive items made from the court on which the Gamecocks won their 2022 NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship. Fans can pre-order any of the 16 limited-edition items, including two in a hand-signed Dawn Staley Collection, beginning at noon today at: https://www.artsmansport.com/universityofsouthcarolina.

The collection ranges from pendants and cufflinks to useful items like bottle openers, golf accessories and serving trays to more decorative desk and wall frames. Each piece is hand crafted from game-used portions of the court, so no two items are alike. Most pieces also come in a decorative box featuring Gamecock logos and colors.

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of each item will be donated directly to the Gamecock Women’s Basketball program.

With limited quantities of each item offered based on how much court was available to use, fans are encouraged to pre-order their preferred items early. Production on the items will begin in a few weeks, so delivery may take up to eight weeks. That delay especially applies to the Dawn Staley Collection items, which need to be manufactured and shipped to Staley for her signature before being packaged and shipped to the customer.

In April, South Carolina capped an already historic season with its second National Championship in the last five NCAA Tournaments. The Gamecocks were ranked No. 1 in both the Associated Press and USA Today/WBCA Coaches Polls every week of the season as Staley tested her team with the toughest schedule in the country. The Gamecocks responded with a program-record 14 wins against nationally ranked opponents among their program-record 35 total wins on the season. South Carolina claimed its sixth SEC Regular-Season Championship with a 15-1 league record. Aliyah BostonZia Cooke and Destanni Henderson all earned All-America status with Boston going on to sweep the National Player of the Year awards, including Naismith Defensive Player of the Year.
