This is the 14th meeting between the two programs.
This will be only the third match played in Atlanta (1987, 1978).
- The last time the Gamecocks went on the road to GSU was Sept. 27, 1987. The Gamecocks won that match 4-0.
The Panthers won the very first meeting on Oct. 21, 1978, 2-0 in Atlanta.
- This was the only time the Gamecocks have been shutout in the series.
