Track and Field Adds Pair of Coaching Legends to Coaching Clinic
COLUMBIA, S.C. (Nov. 15, 2022) – With the 2022 Sprint, Jump and Hurdles Coaches Clinic vastly approaching, South Carolina Track & Field has added a pair of coaching legends to the panel.
Legendary international coach of Jamaica, Stephen Francis, and two-time Nike Coach of the Year, Lawrence “Boogie” Johnson have been added to the mix for the upcoming clinic that will take place this week on Nov. 18-19. The duo will join the likes of national champion head coach and current Gamecocks Head Coach Curtis Frye, Kentucky Head Coach Lonnie Greene, and Florida Head Coach and 2020 Olympic Head Coach Mike Holloway. This season’s clinic will take place at the Track & Field Indoor Fieldhouse and the Darla Moore School of Business on the Carolina campus.
