Walker Headlines Inaugural First Pitch Banquet on Feb. 8

COLUMBIA – The University of South Carolina baseball team, in conjunction with the Gamecock Dugout Club, will have its inaugural First Pitch Banquet on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Seawell’s on 1125 Rosewood Drive in Columbia.

The event will include an introduction to the 2023 Gamecock baseball team, a buffet dinner and the chance to hear from Carolina alum and Arizona Diamondback Christian Walker, Athletics Director Ray Tanner and Head Coach Mark Kingston as the Gamecocks prepare for the upcoming season.

Individual tickets are $60 with VIP tables for eight guests that include a Gamecock swag bag going for $800. Event sponsorships are $1,200 and include preferred seating for eight guests, two Gamecock swag bags and inclusion in the event program.

All proceeds directly support the Gamecock baseball team with travel and meal expenses.

Carolina opens the 2023 season on Friday, Feb. 17 against UMass Lowell. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
