SEC Announces Baseball Television Schedule
BIRMINGHAM — The University of South Carolina baseball team will have at least eight games televised on the ESPN family of networks with additional games on SEC Network Plus, it was announced this morning (Thursday, Feb. 1).
The Gamecocks open their television schedule on Saturday, March 16 at Ole Miss. First pitch is at 2 p.m. and the game will be televised on SEC Network. Carolina’s Thursday night game at Alabama (March 28) also will be on SEC Network and start at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
The Gamecocks first televised home contest will be Wednesday, April 3 against Georgia Southern with a 7 p.m. first pitch. The game will be on SEC Network. Getaway day at Florida (Sunday, April 14) will be on SEC Network with a noon first pitch.
The Garnet and Black will then have four home games on television. The final two games of the Kentucky series (April 27-28) will be on SEC Network. Saturday’s game will start at 6 p.m., with Sunday’s contest at 3 p.m. Then the first two games of the Georgia series (May 9-10) will be broadcast. Thursday’s game will start at 8 p.m., on ESPNU. Friday’s game starts at 5:30 p.m. on SEC Network.
ESPN has six wildcard slots during the final week of the regular season when Carolina is at Tennessee. Every game of the 2024 SEC Tournament will be broadcast by SEC Network except for the championship contest, which is on ESPN2.
Every home game at Founders Park and all SEC contests not televised will be streamed on SEC Network Plus. The schedule begins Opening Day on Friday, Feb. 16 against Miami (Ohio) with a 4 p.m. first pitch.
Every Gamecock contest will be available on the Gamecock Radio Network. Flagship station, 107.5 FM, “The Game” is the home of the Gamecocks.
