Big Gamecock Weekend presented by Palmetto Shirt Company is back for 2024. To help fans prepare for the weekend of festivities, headlined by the Garnet & Black Spring Game on April 20, we wanted to provide additional information about events taking place throughout the weekend.

Friday Night Fireworks at Gamecock Baseball
Day one of Big Gamecock Weekend will end with a bang! Stick around after Carolina’s Friday night series-opening matchup versus top-ranked Arkansas for a post-game fireworks show. First pitch is scheduled for 7 pm.
Game 2 of the series with the Razorbacks is set for 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, and Game 3 is slated for 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 21.
Tours of Williams-Brice Stadium
Have you ever wanted to go behind the scenes of Williams-Brice Stadium? As part of our Forever Garnet program, you can book a tour on both Friday, April 19 and Sunday, April 21 as part of Big Gamecock Weekend.
Garnet & Black Spring Game
The Garnet & Black Spring Game will kick off at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. Be sure to stick around following the conclusion of the game for the post-game fireworks show.
Forever Garnet Memories
Take pregame photos on the field, sideline pictures with Cocky, have a message displayed on the videoboard or watch the postgame fireworks from the field. All of this and more is available through Forever Garnet Memories.

Parking
Gamecock Park will open at 2:30 p.m. and parking is free on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additional free parking will be available in the Woodstock lot (behind the Football Indoor facility) and the Key Road Lot. LMC Fair Park will open at 3 p.m. and is $10 per vehicle.
Gamecock Village presented by Farm Bureau Insurance
Gamecock Village will open at 2:30 p.m. This will be the first opportunity for fans to pick up the official 2024 South Carolina football poster.
Food will be available for purchase from multiple food trucks while beer, seltzer and water will also be available for sale throughout Gamecock Village.
In addition, multiple inflatables will be in the Village to entertain our younger Gamecock fans and Palmetto Shirt Company will be on site with a pop-up shop.
Gate & Seating Information
All gates at Williams-Brice Stadium will open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free. The Clear Bag Policy will be in effect and magnetometers will be used. Seating in the lower level bowl is open on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fans are encouraged to fill sections 1-9 first. The 200 level, 600 level, Zone and 2001 Club are open on an invitation-only basis.
The Cockaboose Club will be open with concessions while the Horseshoe Club will be open but concessions will not be available for purchase. The Traditions Club will be closed.
Cocky Trot 5K & Fun Run/Walk
It’s not too late to register for the Cocky Trot 5K & Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, April 20, at 8 a.m. The 5K will start in Gamecock Park and pass through the outdoor and indoor football practice fields before heading towards Williams-Brice Stadium with the finish line on the 50-yard line.
Join us on Sunday, April 21, for the first ever Jr. Gamecock Club Movie Night at Williams-Brice Stadium! Gates will open at 5 p.m. and this year’s feature movie, “Wonka,” will begin at 6 p.m.
This event is free for all Jr. Gamecock Club members and their guests. If you aren’t a current Jr. Gamecock Club member, you can sign up today.
Beach Volleyball Gamecock Grand Slam
Beach Volleyball will get the weekend started, hosting four matches as part of the Gamecock Grand Slam during Big Gamecock Weekend. South Carolina will compete on Friday, April 19, at 11 am and again at 5:30 pm. Saturday’s matches are set for 11 am and 5 pm. Admission for all matches at Wheeler Beach are free. Fans can also secure a tailgate tent set-up at Wheeler Beach for matches each day. Your tent includes tailgate chairs and a cooler filled with ice for your drinks.
Track & Field USC Open
The Gamecock Track & Field team will be hosting the USC Open on Saturday, April 20, at the Sheila & Morris Cregger Track. Admission for the all-day event is free.
