Gamecock Trio Named to Raleigh Regional All-Tournament Team
RALEIGH – The University of South Carolina had three players on the 2024 NCAA Raleigh Regional All-Tournament team. Cole Messina, Dylan Brewer and Ethan Petry all made the team, announced after the regional championship game Sunday night (June 2).
Messina hit the game-tying home run on Friday in a 10-inning win over James Madison. On the weekend, he reached base six times and threw out three runners trying to steal in the JMU win. Brewer had two home runs in the NC State game on Saturday and then had another hit against James Madison on Sunday. Petry was 3-for-7 in the regional with two doubles and a .556 on-base percentage.
