SEC Announces 2025 Softball Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced the 2025 softball conference schedule this afternoon (Sept. 11). South Carolina head coach Ashley Chastain will open her first SEC season with the Gamecocks on the road at defending national champion Oklahoma March 7-9.

Conference play will begin on March 7 and run through May 3. The regular-season conference schedule includes eight, three-game series for each team for a total of 24 games. The schedule is subject to change, including the move of some conference series to conclude on Mondays.

Following the opening weekend series, the Gamecocks will host their SEC home opener against Georgia March 14-16. After their bye week, Carolina goes on the road to LSU March 28-30.

South Carolina returns home to face Ole Miss April 4-6 before another road series at Arkansas April 11-13. The Gamecocks will host Kentucky over Easter weekend (April 18-20). Carolina’s final road trip of the season will see them head to Auburn April 25-27.

The Gamecocks wrap up their season at home when they take on Alabama May 1-3.

The 2025 SEC Tournament is scheduled for May 6-10 at Turner Softball Stadium in Athens, Ga.

The non-conference portion of the schedule as well as game times and television designations will be announced at a later date.
