Know Before You Go: Air Force Fall Game

COLUMBIA – The University of South Carolina baseball team will host Air Force in a 14-inning exhibition next Saturday (Oct. 26) at 4 p.m., inside Founders Park. It is the first of two fall exhibition games for the Gamecocks, with the result not counting on the 56-game spring schedule.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
PARKING: Fans are encouraged to park in the Lot 1 gravel lot (corner of Wheat St. and Williams St.). A reminder that this lot is not accessible from the Blossom Street entrance due to construction.

TICKETS: Admission is free for the Air Force scrimmage and seats are first come, first served on the first and third base sides.

CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be available for purchase during the scrimmage.

ENTRANCE/EXIT: Fans can enter Founders Park from either Gate 1 (Center Field entrance) or Gate 4 (Home Plate entrance). Gates will open at 3 p.m.

PRE-GAME FESTIVITIES: The Wings of Blue parachuting team will jump into Founders Park from 3:25-3:40 p.m. The national anthem will be performed by USC Army ROTC Coordinator Felecia Torres and the colors will be presented by the USC Air Force ROTC Color Guard. The game ball will be delivered by Cadet First Class Mitch Kazlausky, son of Air Force Head Coach Mike Kazlausky, who is part of the Wings of Blue Parachute team that will land on the field.
