COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina (7-3) puts its four-game win streak on the line Tuesday night as it welcomes in-state rival No. 25 Clemson (9-2) for the annual SC Education Lottery Palmetto Series. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. (ET) with Roy Philpott (pxp) and former Gamecock assistant coach Perry Clark (analyst) on the call for the SEC Network broadcast.
It’ll be the 173rd all-time meeting between the two programs in one of the longest running rivalry games in college hoops.

The Tigers have won 5-of-7 in the series but the Gamecocks were victorious the last time the two programs squared off in head coach Lamont Paris’ first season in 2022-23. Columbia native Chico Carter Jr. hit the game-winning turnaround jump shot with 0.9 seconds remaining as the Gamecocks prevailed, 60-58.
Preseason All-SEC selection Collin Murray-Boyles, who leads the league and ranks in the top-20 nationally in field goal percentage, has had a double-double in three consecutive games for Carolina dating back to a 16-point, 14-rebound performance in a 73-51 win at Boston College on Dec. 3. Graduate transfer Nick Pringle is fresh off a career-high 19 points in the team’s recent victory over USC Upstate on Dec. 14.
